Mr. Alimov Umurbek has been battling cirrhosis of the liver since 2017. The doctors in Uzbekistan said that he has a mere 40% survival rate post-transplant. Despite the daunting odds given by the doctors, he embarked on a journey to MIOT International, Chennai. Burdened with swelling, Umurbek’s body desperately needed a liver transplant. In a selfless act of love, his devoted sister stepped forward to save his life, becoming his organ donor.

The operation was a resounding success, and both siblings fought through their recovery with unwavering determination. Today, their family’s hearts are filled with boundless joy as they witness the remarkable progress made by Mr. Alimov Umurbek and his loving sister.
