A bike accident left Mr. Abdullah Hassan with some bruises near his right hip. Around six months after the accident, he started experiencing pain in his legs while climbing the stairs. He suspected that there could be a problem in his legs or hips and visited multiple hospitals, but he was not satisfied with their treatment plans or diagnosis. So, he decided to seek a second opinion and was recommended to visit MIOT International in Chennai, which is renowned for orthopaedic and traumatological care.

When Mr. Abdullah decided to travel to India, he was concerned about the pandemic. After arriving at MIOT, his concerns vanished because all the staff were vaccinated, and he was also asked to get tested for COVID. The results revealed that he was COVID-negative. The following day, he underwent bilateral total hip replacement surgery. He couldn’t believe it when he heard that the Managing Director would perform his surgery. He was thrilled when he saw Dr. Prithvi Mohandas in person, as he directed the staff on the dos and don’ts while performing the procedure. The reassurance he gave Mr. Abdullah during and after surgery helped him get his health back on track sooner than he had expected.
