This elderly patient had severe arthritis and could not walk. He had pain in both knees and wanted both knees to be replaced.

So after we evaluated and investigated him we found the patient was fit for surgery. We operated on one knee and after five days we did the other knee, considering his age and other complications (myocardial infarction, pulmonary embolism and stroke) that could arise in this age group. Post-Surgery, he was made to walk immediately.

After 15 days the patient was discharged and could walk very well unaided.
